Debbie Shaffer is a fiber artist who utilizes reclaimed and new fabrics and embellishments in her creations. Her favorite pieces are inspired by nature, focusing on seascapes and landscapes. By layering and blending mixed media, she aims to convey tranquility in her art.

Debbie began her artistic journey at age 10 when she took her first 4-H projects, Sewing and Fine Arts. This led to a career in education, teaching textiles, nutrition, and child development.

A Latté Stitches is Debbie's fiber and wearable art collection created using sustainable materials. Whenever possible, she upcycles articles to give them new life and create one-of-a-kind items.

Debbie's art has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and the San Francisco Bay Reporter and exhibited in Indiana, Michigan, Hermosa Beach, Jersey City, and ArtPrize galleries.
